Dear Family & Friends,
I apologize for the late email. A member needed us to help her move some mattresses last week and I didn't really get a lot of time to send an email.
We've been keeping fairly busy these past few weeks. Although we haven't really been teaching a lot of investigators. We do have a baptism date for January 3rd. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.
I was asked to give a talk on the 14th. I don't have a topic to talk on, but I was told to share what I felt the branch needed to hear. I am really excited and I can't wait to share what I know they need!
We finished the shack that the missionaries have been working on here! Now our newest member, who has been living in a tent, can survive the winter in her new hut! It's been fun working on it and I'm a little sad that it's over. Now we have to go find someone new to help! Please pray for us that we will find somebody who is need of help.
In other news, we got a new Branch President yesterday! The one day that I missed Church on my mission, because I was sick and I could barely breath or swallow. Luckily, we had a member come over and give me some herbal remedies. My throat opened up and I feel much better today! I'm pretty sure that I got Strep Throat, which I contracted it from a girl we gave a blessing to on Wednesday. But I know that she's feeling better now, which makes everything great!
I know that my Redeemer lives and during this Christmas season, I would like to invite everybody to keep Jesus in their hearts when the commercial industry threatens to detract from the real meaning of Christmas: That our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, was born to save us from death.
I love you all!
