Dear Family & Friends,
This week has been fairly interesting. I got to go on an exchange on the 14th, with an Elder who I do not like. Which is really hard for me to admit, because I get along with practically everybody! But this Elder is just not a nice person. He's been emergency transferred more than 10 times, and I figured that some of those couldn't have been his fault... There are a bunch of things he did, but I can't really say what they were because those are private details.
Anyways, to be honest and straight to the point, I had a terrible exchange with him and I had to call my Mission President about the things I learned about that Elder during my short time with him. Needless to say, that Elder is now under serious scrutiny from President Shumway. I can't wait for this next transfer when either this Elder leaves or I leave.
Now... On to happier things! The baptism this Saturday is fully scheduled, planned, and stuff! I was asked to baptize K and I am super excited to do it! I'm grateful that I was chosen to do it, and I'm praying that everything goes off without a hitch.
We got a new car yesterday, and I am so happy! It's a 2015 Nissan Frontier, with a V6 and some other fancy things in it. It's a little cramped on the inside, but I am grateful to have a better vehicle than before. It has some serious power and I know that it is definitely needed in this area, since it's mostly dirt roads out here. Going to pick up the car is part of the reason I didn't get to send out this email yesterday.
I love you all!
Have a fantastic week and I pray that everyone will remember to put their trust in our loving Heavenly Father when life starts to weigh you down.
